Yes, you can use 6vdc for this camera, there is a power connector at the bottom, dedicated to the external power supply.
Recommend using 8*1.5V AA (LR6) Lithium batteries in this hunting camera to obtain maximum battery life.( NOT INCLUDED )

T80 trail camera is connect with phone's wifi, not home's wifi.
Download the APP in your phone and then connect with WIFI. You can adjust setting and check the photo /video on the phone directly.

You can do either. Swap it in the field and view the pics at home, or use the built in screen in the camera to scroll through the pics. The screen is decent, but I find it much more useful to swap cards and view things on a PC.

Yes it has a remote which you can use to turn on the WiFi from a distance and you can download the images directly to a cell phone after connecting both together with the built in WiFi.

How long do the batteries last on average, with and without using the WiFi?
Answer:
Without using WiFi, it can use 4-5 months in low power consumption(standby time).
Use WIFI (depending on the number of times you use WIFI and the length of time), not frequent use and less than 10 minutes each time. it can use about 2-3 months.
Hunting camera battery life is affected by many factors. First, low power consumption is the most energy-efficient, followed by taking pictures and then video, night vision to take pictures/video (the most power-consuming night vision video). The battery you bought also will affect it. A good battery will take a long time.
