Answer:

Camera WiFi connect with your phone effective distance: indoor about 10m,outdoor 12m.

Does it have a connection to be wired for 6 or 12vdc instead of batterys?

Answer:

Yes, you can use 6vdc for this camera, there is a power connector at the bottom, dedicated to the external power supply.
Recommend using 8*1.5V AA (LR6) Lithium batteries in this hunting camera to obtain maximum battery life.( NOT INCLUDED )

Can you connect this camera to your home’s wifi and then access photos remotely via phone app?

Answer:

T80 trail camera is connect with phone's wifi, not home's wifi.
Download the APP in your phone and then connect with WIFI. You can adjust setting and check the photo /video on the phone directly.

Does camera provide time and date of when picture or video was taken?

Answer:

Yes,it does, you can set it on the trail camera

This is weird question but do you have to have internet or just a wifi capability on your phone?

Answer:

After researching last night I believe it links to your phone, not your home wifi. Sounds like internet is not needed.

Answer:

T80 game camera is low glow.

Central sensor zone:50°, side sensor zone:each 30°, total sensor angle zone:120°

Can the SD card be swapped with a spare easily in the field or would I need to view and delete pics in the field?

Answer:

You can do either. Swap it in the field and view the pics at home, or use the built in screen in the camera to scroll through the pics. The screen is decent, but I find it much more useful to swap cards and view things on a PC.

Can you view the captured images remotely?

Answer:

Yes it has a remote which you can use to turn on the WiFi from a distance and you can download the images directly to a cell phone after connecting both together with the built in WiFi.

As long as you have an internet/data plan on your phone. It will work with any carrier!

How long do the batteries last on average, with and without using the WiFi?

Answer:

Without using WiFi, it can use 4-5 months in low power consumption(standby time).
Use WIFI (depending on the number of times you use WIFI and the length of time), not frequent use and less than 10 minutes each time. it can use about 2-3 months.
Hunting camera battery life is affected by many factors. First, low power consumption is the most energy-efficient, followed by taking pictures and then video, night vision to take pictures/video (the most power-consuming night vision video). The battery you bought also will affect it. A good battery will take a long time.

Can you check pictures on camera when your not in the woods? How?

Answer:

You have to be in range of the WiFi connection of the camera. That seems to vary based on obstacles.

Answer:

Yes, it can be used, the voltage output is 6V, the jack size refers to the power port at the bottom of the trail camera.
